In recognition of PPL Corporation’s ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting the communities it serves, United Way Worldwide has named PPL a President’s Circle member in its Leading Corporate Partner program, which recognizes the network’s most generous corporate partners. United Way of Greater Lehigh Valley, the local United Way that serves PPL’s headquarters community, nominated PPL for the honor.
“At the PPL Foundation, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration and shared investment,” said Lissette Santana, President of the PPL Foundation. “Our partnership with United Way helps connect our employees’ generosity with trusted local organizations that are working every day to address critical needs and improve quality of life across the regions we serve.”
PPL employees and retirees, together with matching contributions from PPL’s affiliated foundations, pledged $10 million during the company’s annual employee-led charitable giving campaign in 2025. These contributions support more than 500 local nonprofit organizations in communities served by PPL’s utilities in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, with local United Ways helping to ensure funds are directed to areas of greatest need.

PPL’s partnership with United Way is deeply rooted. Each year, more than 1,000 PPL employees also volunteer during United Way’s Day of Caring.
