PPL Celebrates Women’s History Month

During Women’s History Month, we celebrate the many women here at PPL who are blazing trails and helping us create the utilities of the future. Together, we’re addressing energy challenges head-on by building smarter, more resilient and more dynamic power grids and advancing a cleaner energy future affordably and reliably for customers.

Meet Angie Gosman, Wendy Stark, Lihe (Natalie) Xiu, Ettay Bailey and Isis Phillips who are among those helping us lead the way.

Angie Gosman is executive vice president and chief human resources officer for PPL Corporation. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Gosman has served in a variety of human resources leadership roles. She provides oversight and direction for human resources functions across our family of companies.

Wendy Stark is executive vice president-utilities, chief legal officer and corporate secretary of PPL Corporation. With over two decades of legal experience, Stark leads PPL’s legal department, supervises the presidents of PPL’s four utility companies and oversees the corporation’s ethics and compliance, internal audit, public affairs and communications teams.

Lihe (Natalie) Xiu is a regional distribution design coordinator with PPL Electric Utilities. She began her career at the company as an intern after graduating from Penn State University with an engineering degree.

Ettay Bailey is a supervisor on the Gas Construction team at Rhode Island Energy. Bailey joined the company in 2016 and serves as membership chair for RIE’s African American Business Resource Group.

Isis Phillips is a team leader with LG&E and KU, leading a team of gas dispatchers, senior gas operations assistants and contractor pipeline technicians. She holds master’s degrees in management and applied information technology, and before joining the company, she worked more than 15 years in the transportation industry.
