Brighter Futures Scholarships.
At PPL, we believe vibrant, prosperous communities need educated residents who are ready to tackle today’s problems and find solutions for the future. We believe expanding access to high-quality education benefits society and creates opportunities for a better life.

Investing in Students
The PPL Foundation will award $1 million over the next decade through the Powering a Brighter Future Scholarship program, which aims to advance diversity, equity and inclusion, and attract more women and minorities to careers in engineering, information technology, and tech and trade roles.
The scholarship program will award $100,000 annually.

Scholar Spotlight: Nadav Griver
“These funds will not only help me tremendously to pay for my higher education but allow me to focus even more on excelling in my studies and becoming the best version of myself. You have reminded me, at a time when
the rigorous course work of college seems endless, that hard work pays off and you have inspired me to keep working hard.”
An Aerospace Engineering major, Nadav made the Dean’s List in his first year at Penn State University.
Powerful Tech and Trade
As an energy company, we also place a high value on skilled trades workers. The Powerful Tech and Trade scholarships are available for minority and female students entering any year of a full-time, post-secondary career training at a community college or technical school in PPL’s Pennsylvania and Rhode Island service territory.
The annual application period is open from Jan. 25 to March 2.
