A Message from our Co-Chairs

People for Good Government (PGG) is PPL’s voluntary, nonpartisan, employee-supported political action committee.

Through PGG, PPL can engage in the political process and support policymakers who share our views on major issues like competitive markets, tax reform, integrity of critical infrastructure and environmental compliance.

PGG donates to policymakers who share our views on key issues and will consider our opinions during policy discussions. PGG helps our Government Relations staff build long-term relationships with government decision-makers, so they understand the impact their decisions have on our business.

With major public policy decisions being made every day, it’s more important than ever for companies like PPL to engage in a meaningful way in the political process to ensure that our voice is being heard by key decision-makers. Other stakeholders that might not share our views are active in the political process, so we need to be active as well.

PGG unites all employees under the singular focus of making a stronger impact in the political arena to ensure that our company can continue to be successful and prosper.

PGG offers employees an ideal environment to stay informed and to impactfully participate in the political process by ensuring that perspectives on issues important to the company are shared with our elected officials.”
