Over the past two years, the companies’ economic development efforts contributed to 268 announcements of new or expanding businesses within their service territories, which includes more than 12,562 jobs and investments of more than $4.8 billion.
In 2018, Site Selection, the international economic development magazine, once again named LG&E and KU a “Top 10 Utility” for the companies’ efforts to grow business and attract jobs to Kentucky.
