In her role, Raymond oversees electricity delivery and customer service, as well as PPL Electric Utilities’ continued investments in infrastructure and technology to improve service to customers. This includes the company’s ongoing work to strengthen and modernize the power grid and enable increased integration of distributed energy resources, including solar power and energy storage, which will advance a cleaner energy future.

Prior to becoming president of PPL Electric Utilities in April 2021, Raymond served as vice president of Distribution Operations since 2018. In that role, she oversaw the planning, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of PPL Electric Utilities’ distribution grid to ensure safe, reliable service to customers while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Before joining Distribution Operations, Raymond was vice president of Transmission and Substations, where she led operations, planning, engineering, compliance, real estate, siting and permitting, project management, construction management, contract management and new transmission business ventures.

Prior to joining PPL in 2011, Raymond was chief operating officer of Cablenet Services Inc., a Boothwyn, Pennsylvania-based cable company, where she drove the company to best-in-class status in her first year of management. She has also held several senior leadership positions for Comcast Cable Communications in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; General Fiber Communications in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; International Fibercom Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona; and All-Star Telecom in Sacramento, California.

Raymond earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration-finance/strategic management from California State University in Sacramento and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program.

She is an executive sponsor of all employee business resource groups at PPL Electric Utilities, and plays an active role in the community, including serving as the board chair of the Valley Youth House and vice president of PPL Foundation, which contributes millions each year to improve the lives of people in the communities PPL serves. Raymond serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, is a member of the Innovation Advisory Board for the Dyer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and serves on the Board for the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC).
