Supplier e-Commerce with PPL

PPL encourages its suppliers to use electronic commerce to receive purchase orders and submit invoices.

Using e-commerce to conduct transactions improves lead times, reduces transaction processing costs, speeds the processing of payments, offers competitive advantages in the bidding process and improves communications for both PPL and the supplier.

PPL uses Enporion, a supply chain e-marketplace, to conduct electronic transactions with our suppliers. Suppliers have the option to use Enporion’s Web-based ordering system to receive orders electronically from PPL and then quickly turn those orders back over to PPL in the form of electronic invoices or directly integrate their order fulfillment system to Enporion.
