James H. Miller, president of PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL), will discuss the company’s corporate strategy and general business outlook with investors and financial analysts Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Merrill Lynch Global Power & Gas Leaders Conference in New York City.

As previously announced, PPL Corporation’s board of directors has elected Miller chairman and chief executive officer of the company, effective Oct. 1. Miller will replace William F. Hecht as chairman and CEO when Hecht retires at the end of this month. Miller has served as PPL’s president since August 2005 and will continue in that role.
