The Scranton campaign is announcing the appointment on Thursday (1/5).

"Jim has served as a valuable member of the PPL team, helping us to further improve our reputation as a company committed to forging working partnerships with elected officials and regulators," said William F. Seif joined PPL after heading Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection for six years in the Ridge Administration.
