PPLSolutions Improves Client Satisfaction Index

PPLSolutions, a PPL Corporation subsidiary that specializes in business process services for retail energy providers nationally, continued to improve its client satisfaction index and reported steady growth in 2004.

"We made many improvements last year to increase client satisfaction, the cornerstone of our business, at a time when we doubled the number of accounts serviced and billed," said PPLSolutions Vice President Michael Toner. "We created work teams for individual clients, placed an even greater emphasis on bill collection, increased our controls and disaster recovery, and maintained a high grade of service."

According to results from a survey circulated among its clients, PPLSolutions increased its client satisfaction results substantially.

"Because of our extensive experience in the retail energy market, we have been profitable in this low-margin business that requires complex execution and high-quality management of operations," said Toner. "Another key element of our success in the competitive marketplace continues to be our innovative pricing structure, which gives our clients the ability to design and cost-effectively deliver products, including complex billing, that meet the needs of their customers."
