As part of its expansion into electricity markets statewide, PP&L EnergyPlus has opened a Pittsburgh sales office to better serve its new commercial and industrial customers in that reegion.

Richard R. Cullinan, former director of sales with Allegheny Energy Solutions, has been named regional sales manager for PP&L EnergyPlus.

"At PP&L EnergyPlus, we have a strong focus on service before, during and after the sale," said John Sipics, vice president for PP&L EnergyPlus. "We are committed to the Pittsburgh market, and we intend to extend our tradition of personal service to our new customers in the Pittsburgh area."

Cullinan, a Pittsburgh native, has a wealth of experience in the city's business community. Before joining Allegheny Energy Solutions, he worked as a major account manager for Allegheny Power Corp. Previously, he was a regional sales manager for Koppers Industries, Pittsburgh.
