As of 5 a.m. Friday (1/10), PP&L had no reports of power outages throughout its 29-county service territory. Since about 6 p.m. Monday (1/9), PP&L crews have restored power to about 9,600 customers. Several of the outages were caused by high winds Monday evening in the Wilkes-Barre area. PP&L serves 1.2 million customers.
