The board of directors of PP&L Resources, Inc., Wednesday (12/17)set the company's annual meeting of shareowners for Friday, April 24, 1998, at Lehigh University's Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pa. The meeting will start at 1:30 p.m.

PP&L Resources is the parent company of PP&L, Inc., which provides electricity delivery service to 1.2 million customers in eastern and central Pennsylvania, generates and sells retail electricity throughout the state of Pennsylvania and markets wholesale electricity in 18 states.
