Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. will announce the recipients of 1997 Community Partnership Program grants in the Harrisburg region at a news conference on Thursday (8/7) at 9:30 a.m. in the Atrium of Harrisburg City Hall, 10 N. 2nd St., Harrisburg. Frank A. Long, PP&L executive vice president and chief operating officer, will make the announcement. PP&L is contributing $3 million to community development projects across its service area, including $600,000 for projects in the Harrisburg area.
Long will be joined at the news conference by Terri Martini, director of the Department of Building and Housing Development for the city of Harrisburg, and by representatives of other agencies and organizations receiving PP&L grants.
