Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. has selected the 30 winners in its 1996 Electrical Safety Poster Contest for students grades K-12. They are:

More than 7,800 posters were submitted. Three winners were chosen in 10 grade categories. "Subscribe To Electrical Safety" was the contest theme. Students were asked to create and name their own magazine cover.
Prizes included five shares of PP&L Resources stock for grand-prize winners, two shares for first place, and one share for honorable mention.
The grand-prize posters will be featured on PP&L's 1997 Electrical Safety Calendar that is distributed to all participating schools. Teachers of grand-prize winners will receive $50 from PP&L for instructional materials or supplies.
This is the 11th year for the contest.
