William F. Hecht, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Pennsylvania Power & Light Co., will present his views supporting increased competition in the electric utility business during a hearing Thursday (5/23) in Lehigh County.
Hecht will testify, beginning at 9 a.m., before the state House Consumer Affairs Committee, which is holding a series of hearings on House Bill 2537, legislation that outlines a framework for giving Pennsylvania consumers the right to choose their electricity supplier.
The hearing is being held at the Upper Macungie Township Municipal Building in Breinigsville.
