Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. is bringing a popular half-hour weekly home projects show to Central Eastern Pennsylvania.

"Our House," featuring home repair expert Tom Tynan and television personality Paula Engel, will be shown in the Harrisburg, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Allentown television markets beginning the weekend of March 23-24.

Each week, Tynan and Engel take on easy-to-do home improvement projects that improve energy efficiency in new and existing homes. They also talk with plumbers, heating contractors, landscapers and other home experts.

A sampling of "Our House" topics include tips for increasing home energy efficiency, heating and cooling systems, interior lighting, storm windows and attic ventilation.

Viewers can see "Our House" on these stations:

-- Allentown, WFMZ, Channel 69, Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

-- Harrisburg, WHP, Channel 21, Sundays at 12:30 p.m.

-- Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, WBRE, Channel 28, Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

PP&L is sponsoring the 13-week show, which has gained a good audience in other parts of the country where it is shown.

"Our House" co-star Tynan will meet with the public on Saturday (3/2) at PP&L's display booth at the 1996 Pennsylvania Home Builders Show in Harrisburg. Tynan will autograph copies of his latest book on home repair and energy efficiency.

The Home Builders Show is at the Harrisburg Farm Show Arena. Tynan will be at the PP&L booth, numbers 196-198 and 205-207 in the main hall, from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
