Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. has set Monday (6/17) at 2 p.m. as a time for media representatives to photograph the peregrine falcons being raised on the PP&L building and to speak with project organizers. At that time, a Pennsylvania Game Commission officer will be at the PP&L building to record the weight of the birds and place identification leg bands on them, a process referred to as "banding." The game commission representative and other project organizers will be available for interviews.
The falcons are being raised on the parapet of the 23rd floor of the building in downtown Allentown at Ninth and Hamilton streets. Members of the media should meet project representatives in the PP&L lobby.
