Sixty-two Harrisburg-area residents recently took part in a six-month nationwide electric vehicle demonstration program called the PrEView Drive.

Sponsors of the program -- Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. & General Motors Corp. -- will host a news conference to announce preliminary results and give media representatives an opportunity to talk with some of the test drivers who participated.

The news conference will be at 5 p.m., Tuesday (10/10) at the Harrisburg Marriott (take the Swatara exit off Route 283).
