Reserve a Date

Outings for Large Groups: Picnic pavilions on each side of Lake Chillisquaque are available for group outings. Each picnic area has charcoal grills, water, restrooms and playgrounds available. Pavilions can be reserved for a fee by calling 1-800-354-8383 or using our online reservation system.

Observation Blind: The Alder Swamp and Oak Woods trails are located in a wildlife refuge area accessed by permission only. Each trail leads to one of the preserve's wildlife observation blinds. Permission is required to use either the Muscrat or Smokehouse observation blinds on the Goose Cove side of Lake Chillisquaque. Call 1-570-437-3131 or write to pplpreserves@pplweb.com.

Special Nature Study Areas: Reservations are required for the West Branch Group Camp Area, a semi-primitive site available for organized groups of 10 or more interested in nature study. The area is open from late May through August. Camp program activity plans and objectives for the campout are required. Make arrangements by calling 1-570-437-3131.
