Rules & Regulations

Because many people visit and enjoy the Martins Creek Environmental Preserve throughout the year, we ask your help in keeping the preserve a safe and beautiful natural and recreational area. We ask that you adhere to the following rules:

• Please stay on the trails. Beware of cliffs and steep slopes along the river.
• Do not litter. All trash should be deposited in the receptacles at the boat access are or taken home with you. Do not bring glass bottles or glass containers into the preserve.
• Hunting or shooting is not allowed.
• Alcoholic beverages, narcotics, firearms and fireworks are prohibited.
• Do not camp within the preserve.
• Motor vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles, are prohibited.
• Pets should be leashed.
• Commercial groups are not permitted at the boat access area. The boat ramp is for use by individuals and families only.
• Park only in designated areas.
• Open fires are not allowed.
