Boating

Cruising, water-skiing and sailing are popular activities on the 5,700-acre lake. PPL campground directors maintain boat ramps and slip dock rentals at the four recreation areas. Many resorts and marinas offer boats and water-skiing equipment for rent. A fee for boat launching is charged at the Caffrey, Ironwood Point, Ledgedale and Wilsonville recreation areas. Register with the director. Boat sewage holding tanks can be pumped at the Caffrey and Wilsonville areas for a fee.
