Shoreline Management

PPL owns most of Lake Wallenpaupack's shoreline, and front-lot property owners are required to obtain permits from PPL for land and water uses. PPL strives to maintain a natural wooded shoreline around the lake. Permits are issued for:

• Vegetation removal
• Earth moving
• Docks
• Floats
• Buoys
• Land
