Scoping Meetings and Site Visit
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission staff will conduct scoping meetings and a site visit for the Holtwood project on Thursday, April 17, 2008.
The site visit will begin at 10:30 a.m., meeting at the plant security gate. All interested parties are invited to attend, but must provide their own transportation.
FERC and PPL will hold two scoping meetings to help identify issues that need to be addressed.
The first scoping meeting at 2 p.m. at the Holtwood Environmental Center, 9 New Village Road, Holtwood, will focus on resource agency concerns.
The second scoping meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the TravelLodge Inn and Suites and Conference Center, 1492 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, is for public input.

Plant Tour and Public Meeting
A plant tour was held on April 18, 2006, to give the public an opportunity to see the Holtwood project in operation, ask questions and voice comments about the redevelopment proposal. Approximately 100 people attended.
The tour was followed by an evening public meeting at the Willow Valley Resort and Conference Center. Approximately 200 people attended the meeting and raised a variety of issues about the redevelopment proposal and PPL's management of the Holtwood project.
