Programs and Workshops
PPL's Holtwood Environmental Preserve offers environmental education programs for the public year-round. Topics include bald eagles, wildflowers, community heritage, and hunter and boater education.
Upcoming programs are listed in PPL's online Calendar of Events and publicized via a free quarterly e-mail. To receive the quarterly listing of events, send an e-mail to pplpreserves@pplweb.com and list "Subscribe Holtwood" in the subject line.
PPL understands the critical role quality education plays in society. It is a solid foundation for our children and one of the keys to future economic growth.

Since 1989, PPL has offered its award-winning "Teaching Environmental Awareness" (TEA) workshops annually to provide teachers in grades K-12 with the information and expertise they need to give their students a better understanding of the environment.
The Partnership for the Environment, a joint arrangement between PPL and Millersville University, presents graduate courses for educators and guest lectures for the public on key environmental topics.
