PPL's Holtwood Environmental Center

From Lancaster: Take Route 272 south to Buck, turn right onto Route 372. Take 372 west for 6 miles and turn right onto River Road. Go one-half mile and turn left onto Old Holtwood Road. Go one-half mile and turn left onto New Village Road. The Holtwood Environmental Center is the first building on the left.

From York: Take Route 74 south. Turn left onto Route 372 and go across the Susquehanna River. Make your first left onto Pinnacle Road. Follow this for about 1 mile. It becomes New Village Road. The Holtwood Environmental Center is on the right before Old Holtwood Road.

Shenk’s Ferry Wildflower Preserve

From Lancaster: Take the New Danville Pike to Conestoga. At the post office, veer left onto River Corner Road. After crossing River Road, continue west on Shenk’s Ferry Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Green Hill Road. Follow the gravel road through the tunnel and bear left.
