Three chicks so far for Allentown

These three chicks on PPL's Tower Building in Allentown, Pa., represent 13 years of efforts to help restore the peregrine in Pennsylvania, where it is considered endangered.

Three chicks have hatched at the peregrine falcon nest at PPL's Tower Building in Allentown, Pa., and it appears the fourth may be starting to hatch.

"It was a little tough getting a good look at the remaining egg this morning with all its siblings huddling around it and Dad struggling to try to keep them all together and warm," said Jeff Luzenski, PPL senior environmental professional. "Mom had just left to go out and get some more to eat."
