Contributions to Political Candidates
PPL has a voluntary, nonpartisan political action committee in the United States called People for Good Government (PGG). PGG is funded through voluntary contributions by employees; any PPL employee or shareowner may be a member. The objectives of PGG are:
- To encourage interest and participation in the political process by PPL employees.
- To help elect responsible candidates to public office.
- To promote sound governmental policies that further a healthy public policy climate for PPL Corporation.
