Elfec, PPL's affiliate in Bolivia, sponsors Mision Noche Buena, which delivers food for Christmas Eve dinner to families with limited financial means in Cochabomba. Over the last 10 years, this outreach program has touched more than 40,000 families.

For the last five years, Elfec has joined with Social Management Services in the "Search for Children" project to help Bolivian families who had missing children. The program has reunited 26 children with their families by publishing photos and information with Elfec electric bills.

Elfec supports development in rural areas of Bolivia, such as Totorcahua, which has drinkable water and irrigation thanks to a well and water pump that serves more than 100 families.
