Divestitures

PPL announced its intentions to sell its Latin American business in March 2007. PPL completed the sale of its El Salvadoran and Bolivian electricity distribution businesses in May and July, respectively. In September, PPL reached an agreement of sale for its Chilean business.

In August 2007, PPL completed the sale of its PPL Telcom operation.

PPL announced in July 2007 its intention to sell PPL Gas Utilities, a natural gas distribution company, and Penn Fuel Propane, a retail propane supply business.
