Mini Nuclear Energy Seminar for Teachers
at Susquehanna Riverlands

Friday, November 6, 2009
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Susquehanna Energy Information Center, Luzerne County
634 Salem Blvd., Berwick, PA 18603
Presented by: PPL staff

Because of the overwhelming response to our annual weeklong NEST course, PPL will offer Mini-NEST this fall. We’ve condensed as much information as possible into this daylong course that will include sessions on energy basics, the fundamentals of nuclear power, physical security at the plant and the future of nuclear power in America. A perimeter tour of the plant and the site of a possible new unit at Susquehanna will end the day. PPL will provide lunch for participants.

Presented by experts in their field, this lively discussion promises to be time well-spent. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.

This program is eligible for Act 48 hours.
