Brunner Island

From Interstate 83: Take exit 32 (old exit 13), Newberrytown. Take Route 382 south to York Haven. At intersection of Route 181, go straight for one block (do not take Route 181). Bear right onto Locust Street and take this across the railroad tracks and a concrete bridge. Road is now named Wago Road. Proceed for 0.5 mile and turn left into Brunner Island plant entrance. Proceed to security guard house, sign in as a visitor and follow directions to the administration building, main conference room.

From Route 30: Take Mount Zion exit for Route 24 North. When Route 24 ends, turn right onto Main Street. Main Street becomes Wago Road. Follow Wago Road east to Brunner Island.

Holtwood Environmental Center

From Lancaster: Take Route 272 south to Buck, turn right onto Route 372. Take 372 west for 6 miles and turn right onto River Road. Go one-half mile and turn left onto Old Holtwood Road. Go one-half mile and turn left onto New Village Road. The Holtwood Environmental Center is the first building on the left.

From York: Take Route 74 south. Turn left onto Route 372 and go across the Susquehanna River. Make your first left onto Pinnacle Road. Follow this for about 1 mile. It becomes New Village Road. The Holtwood Environmental Center is on the right before Old Holtwood Road.

Lake Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center

From Interstate 81 North or South: Take Interstate 81 to Interstate 84 east. Take I-84 to Exit 8 (Mount Cobb/Hamlin). Make a left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to traffic signal and make a right onto Route 348 east. Follow Route 348 about three miles to the end. Make a left onto Route 590 east at the stop sign by Shaffer's Hardware. Follow Route 590 for about 15 miles to U.S. Route 6. Make a right at the stop signal onto Route 6 east, go over the four-lane concrete bridge and make the first right onto PPL Drive, the paved road for the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center.

From Allentown area: Take U.S. Route 22 east to Route 33 north and then Route 209 north and Interstate 80 east to Exit 309 (Marshalls Creek). Follow Route 209 north to third traffic signal. Turn right, follow the next signal just ahead and turn left. Make first right onto Route 402 north. Take Route 402 to the end. Make left onto U.S. Route 6. Travel about two miles. Pass the Wallenpaupack Area High School on your left. Make the next left onto PPL Drive, the paved road for the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center.

Martins Creek Plant

From points south (Easton): Take Route 611 North to the traffic signal in the village of Martins Creek. Turn right, continuing on Route 611 for another mile. At the top of the hill, veer off Route 611 by continuing straight ahead onto the Martins Creek/Belvidere Highway. Travel 3 miles and take a right onto Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road. (There is a yellow farmhouse on the right.) Continue straight on Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road and past the Cedars Pavilion. At the Y in the road, bear right. Park in parking lot on either side of the road and walk to guard shack to sign in. If coming for a program, allow yourself 10 extra minutes to sign in and walk to the conference room.

From points north (Stroudsburg): From Interstate 80, take Route 611 south to the town of Delaware Water Gap. Follow Route 611 South for about 5 miles to Richmond. After passing a large white barn on the left, turn left onto Riverton Road and follow road for about 3.5 miles to the end. Make a right onto the Martins Creek-Belvidere Highway and follow for 2.7 miles. Make a left onto Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road. Continue straight on Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road. You will pass the Cedars Pavilion on your left. To continue to the plant, at the Y in the road, bear right. Park in parking lot on either side of the road and walk to guard shack to sign in. If coming for a program, allow yourself 10 extra minutes to sign in and walk to the conference room.

From points east (Belvidere, N.J.): Cross the Delaware River on the Riverton Bridge at Belvidere and continue straight on Martins Creek/Belvidere Highway for about 4 miles. Turn left onto Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road. Continue straight on Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road and past the Cedars Pavilion. At the Y in the road, bear right. Park in parking lot on either side of the road and walk to guard shack to sign in. If coming for a program, allow yourself 10 extra minutes to sign in and walk to the conference room.

From Allentown/Bethlehem: Take Route 22 East to Fourth Street Exit in Easton (last exit in Pennsylvania). Turn left off the exit ramp. At next traffic light, turn left onto Third Street Travel about 100 yards and make a sharp right at end of brick building. Follow sign to Route 611. Turn left onto Route 611 North to Martins Creek (about 7 miles). Take Route 611 North to the traffic signal in the village of Martins Creek. Turn right, continuing on Route 611 for another mile. At the top of the hill, veer off Route 611 by continuing straight ahead onto the Martins Creek/Belvidere Highway. Travel 3 miles and take a right onto Foul Rift/DePues Ferry Road. Montour Preserve Environmental Education Center

From Interstate 80:
Take Exit 224 and drive west on Pennsylvania Route 54. At Washingtonville, turn right as if heading toward Strawberry Ridge. At the first intersection, turn left onto PPL Road. Continue north on PPL Road past the Montour power plant and a group of greenhouses to the intersection with Preserve Road. Turn right onto Preserve Road. Montour Environmental Preserve's office and visitors center will be on the left.

From Williamsport:
Take Interstate 180 east to Exit 5, Route 54 east toward Turbotville. Continue on Route 54. Watch for the intersection with state Route 44. Continue on Route 54 past the intersection. About a mile later, turn left onto Preserve Road. Continue past the intersection with PPL Road. Montour Environmental Preserve's office and visitors center will be on the left.

Susquehanna Energy Information Center and Susquehanna Riverlands

From Interstate 80 West: Take Exit 256 - Conyngham/Nescopeck/PA 93 - to Route 93 North to Route 11 North and then follow the directions for Route 11.

From Interstate 80 East: Take Exit 241B - Berwick - to Route 11 North and follow the directions for Route 11.

From Interstate 81 South: Take I-80 West at the 80-81 junction to Exit 256 - Conyngham/Nescopeck/PA 93 - to Route 93 North to Route 11 North and then follow directions for Route 11.

From Interstate 81 North: Take Exit 145 (West Hazleton) to Route 93 North to Route 11 North and follow directions from Route 11.

From Route 11 (Route 93 Junction): Go about 5 miles north. Pass the entrance to the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station on left. Pass under a green railroad bridge and then make a right turn into the parking area of the Susquehanna Energy Information Center.
